Bizarre Foods Andrew Zimmern Visits Scialo Bros. Bakery

Scialo's was featured on the Travel Channel's "Bizarre Foods America" as part of a look at Rhode Island cuisine. Show host and celebrated chef/writer Andrew Zimmern called the bakery's brick ovens unlike anything he had seen "anywhere else in America." He also tried out several Scialo favorites, including its famous torrono, and fig squares that he could "remember eating as a kid on family visits to Providence." The show aired in August 2013.
